Parking nearby was reasonably priced, and the hotel is well placed for the spa area and the old town. We ate in the restaurant that evening after staying overnight on 1 Aug 24. Our standard room was spacious enough, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The staff were courteous, friendly, and efficient, and the place had a welcoming, traditional feel with a bit of art deco. I'd like to know more about the building's history. If we're back in Vichy, we'd stay here again.

The setting is beautiful, and the food, restaurant, and service were fabulous. It was our third visit. The only thing missing was much atmosphere. A little background music might help.

The rooms are clean and pleasant, and the bed was really comfortable. Being right in central Vichy is a great location. The building is a bit old, though, and noise carries between floors. We could hear the people upstairs walking around in their room.

The bed was comfortable, but that was the only real plus. For what I paid, I was very disappointed. The room was tiny and tired looking, with no air conditioning, and the bathroom looked dirty. The shower controls came off in my hand. Street noise was bad, and at 5am an alarm went off in the adjoining room and woke me. The TV was set at such an angle that it was uncomfortable to watch. The local ibis would have given me a much nicer room with air con for half the price.

I haven't stayed at Hotel Le Midland myself, but I've had lunch there plenty of times. The food, service, and setting are always top notch. The lobby looks very nice too, and the hotel is conveniently located in the center of Vichy, France 🇫🇷.
