We stopped here midway on our way south and loved it. The building is beautiful, and the church next door is well worth visiting. The owners were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, especially the best plain croissant I've ever had. Fanny's boulangerie across the road also has amazing pastries. David, Virginne and lily, wishing you all many happy years. Maybe we'll see you again.

The Wi-Fi has a little trouble getting through the thick walls, which was the only small drawback. Otherwise, the room was beautifully decorated, and we got a warm, attentive welcome. Breakfast was superb, with local delicacies.

Breakfast was superb and generous, and the charming romantic, bucolic rooms fit the setting perfectly. The building sits above the Allier River, surrounded by a lovely cliffside garden, so the place feels peaceful and picturesque. One small suggestion: the room could use a quick dusting. The bedding and bathroom were very clean.

We spent three nights here on our first trip to the region, and Hermitage Saint-Vincent was just what we hoped for. The relaxation room has a breathtaking view and is perfect for unwinding, finding some peace, or meditating. Our room was comfortable and decorated to suit its surroundings. Breakfast was delicious, and the host paid attention to what we needed and gave us useful advice. A perfect stay.
