Les Glycines

The rooms were quiet, comfortable and very clean, and the staff were friendly. The restaurant is excellent and well worth a detour. Dinner and the delicious buffet breakfast both featured great food, beautifully presented, using high-quality local produce. The breakfast was the best value I’ve had in a long time. There’s a great wine list, and the knowledgeable waiter was helpful. The staff have clearly put in a lot of effort to offer top quality and value. Highly recommended.

The rooms are basic, but I was happy to put up with that for an incredible meal. The quality is remarkable for the price, and I’m certain a Michelin star won’t be long in coming. From the homemade aperitif and digestifs to the other concoctions and creative menu, there’s plenty to enjoy. You can choose the tasting option to try a sample of everything. Foodie heaven at its most delightful Gallic best, and the natural wines are superb.

I had a wonderful dinner at Les Glycines, with amazing food and skilled, friendly staff. The experience felt fancy without being forced, and I’d happily recommend giving it a try. At 24€, the slightly cheaper three-course meal offered two choices for each course. The 34€ option was a bit more expensive and had no à la carte choice. Each dish had something special, whether it was an unfamiliar combination or a new way of preparing something, and left me eager for the next. The waiters were very well trained and welcoming, and I felt completely looked after. For the price, I couldn’t have asked for more. If I’m ever nearby again, I can’t imagine passing up the chance to go back.

A great selection of local wines, and the staff were very helpful. The food was fantastic and worth every penny. My duck was cooked perfectly. An excellent place to visit and well worth the price.
