We loved how peaceful the gîte was, and its location made it easy to visit the D-Day landing beaches. Everything we needed for a comfortable week was just right. Sophie and Sylvain welcomed us with a lovely bottle of cider, and Sophie made teurgoule, a traditional rice pudding, for us to try before we left. I’d never tasted it before and absolutely loved it. We each went home with a generous portion too. So kind and generous of them. A 20/20 for this magnificent place.

Sophie was lovely and gave us some excellent advice. The cottage is in a really convenient location and was well equipped for our 15 days there in August. The one thing missing is some storage upstairs.

We stayed from September 2nd to 8th, 2023, and found the price very reasonable for the quality. The owner was really friendly, and we were offered a bottle of cider when we arrived. The cottage was quiet, very clean, and well equipped, with a double bed in one bedroom and two single beds upstairs. It's close to Bayeux and the Normandy landing beaches. I highly recommend it.

This gîte isn't suitable for children under 2. There's a lot that could be said, but the bedding was poor, the equipment was in bad shape, and the place was dirty. The oven couldn't be used because of the dirt. The extractor hood light is held on with tape, and the curtains were torn.

The TV is tiny and has hardly any channels. We paid €50 for one night, then came back after the holidays for three nights and it cost €190. No idea why. In short, zero.
