Grand Hotel de la Poste

The rooms aren’t fancy, but for the price and location they’re pretty darn nice. This is a gem in the middle of historic buildings, parks, shops, Roman sites, and the restaurant district.

We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back. The hotel is right in the center of Vienne, and there’s a secure garage very close by where we got a discount on parking. Our room was clean and pleasant, with a lovely retro look. Breakfast had a great selection of muffins, bread, cake, pancakes, and more. The staff spoke English very well, were super kind, and suggested some restaurants nearby. Definitely a hotel I’d recommend!

We were very comfortable in the room, which looked recently renovated. The windows were excellent at keeping out street noise. Breakfast was very good too, with high quality cheeses, pastries, and confiture.

We loved our stay, thanks for a fantastic time. The rooms and decor have real vintage style and taste, though I wish the rooms had more of the tasteful details found in the hallways. It’s super central but quiet, with an inner courtyard that’s peaceful, and the staff speak English perfectly. Very pet friendly too. I stayed with two Labradors. The room was very small, even by economy standards, and the bathroom, especially the shower, was tiiiiiiiny. I also thought the price for the room was a bit out of touch.
