Breakfast came with lots of homemade products, and the hostess gave us an exquisite welcome. We spent two days getting a taste of what life might have been like in the nineteenth century. The place was quiet and relaxing, with a large, clean room. The bathroom isn’t modern, but it works. Highly recommended.

Everything about this place won us over. Madeleine is such a kind, lovely person, and having her around felt like being at home with your grandma looking after you. Thank you so much for everything.

We stayed in one of the most beautiful, authentic spots in Europe, with a great history. It's an old convent run as a B&B to support the local church, and a French nun does the work.

Madeleine, the owner, is delightful. She only speaks French, though you can understand everything. The house and rooms have all the charm of rural France from the last century, and the garden is wonderful. The village is tiny and perfect for a quiet night's sleep. Pontorson, the nearest town with restaurants and shops, is close by. Keep in mind that the rooms we stayed in aren't suitable for people with mobility issues. Also, Google Maps leads to a different guesthouse. Go around and enter from the church side, where there's a sign.
