The village location made our stay especially easy, and we left already wanting to come back. At Hôtel du Centre in Villard-de-Lans, the managers were attentive, kind, and always around when we needed them. They made us feel at home, almost like guests at a friend's place, and we felt truly looked after. We left smiling. Thanks again for all the warmth and those lovely smiles. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

We arrived late, just as lunch service was ending, with five adults, a baby in a stroller, and our dog. They welcomed all of us so warmly. The food was delicious and such good value, and the manager was lovely. We felt genuinely welcome. Thank you so much!

I can only speak to the restaurant. The food left me disappointed, even though the owner was friendly and offered us a discount without being asked. I hesitated to post this, but people shouldn't be led astray by the history in the travel guide. My baked Camembert came with four 3 cm by 3 cm potatoes, a good green salad, and slices of cheap bread. It cost €18.50. My partner and stepson paid the same for ravioli from Intermarché with a little truffle-flavored oil, which seemed mass-produced and inexpensive. There was a lot of confusion, and I don't blame them for that. Still, even with the appreciated discount, paying €17 for food like this felt like blatant incompetence. I don't want other customers to feel ripped off. They need to raise their standards.
