The bathroom is outdated, and without a shower curtain the floor gets wet every time. The service was below average too. The host didn't seem service-minded and tried to squeeze out every last cent. I asked for an extra bag of coffee for the next morning and got charged for it 😂😂😂. When I was cold and asked for another blanket, that wasn't possible. It's far too expensive for this, and there are lots of better places around. I wouldn't come back.

I loved the flowered terrace, where I had a pleasant drink the evening before leaving. It made me wish I'd booked more than one night. There's a choice of restaurants nearby, including one right next door, and plenty of parking across the street. Cyclists will appreciate the secure bike storage and neat, well-equipped workshop, handy for exploring the verdant Vercors. English is spoken pleasantly here, and we've already booked a second stay. The proprietors were charming and gave us a lovely welcome to their attractive mountain hotel. I slept deeply in a quiet room, with peaks on the horizon and a cool breeze coming through the window. Breakfast was a treat, with fresh bread from just down the block and a choice of local cheese. Most certainly recommended.

The bed was very comfortable, and the room was lovely and warm after long days riding. Breakfast was nice too, and the staff friendly.
