Breakfast was a real highlight, with fresh bread, delicious pastries, and homemade jams, and plenty of it. We also found the recently renovated room clean and comfortable. The shared spaces still have a vintage feel, which gives the place much of its authentic charm. It’s a charming bed and breakfast in a former hotel, and the welcome was so warm and attentive that we felt at home straight away. A lovely discovery, and one we highly recommend.
We slept well thanks to how quiet and well located the place is. The breakfast was great, and our room was spacious and beautifully preserved. The host was friendly and welcoming. One small thing: in the pine room on the second floor, the hot and cold bathtub taps were reversed. Still, a very good place to stay, and I highly recommend it.
The quiet location was a plus. I stay in B&Bs often, and it’s rare not to need earplugs. Breakfast was very good, too. But there was barely any heating in either the room or bathroom. Yesterday, it took at least 10 minutes for lukewarm water to come out of the tap, so I won’t even get into what taking a shower would have been like.
The hosts were friendly, and breakfast was hearty. It’s a little gem in a beautiful, peaceful setting. The room could maybe do with a refresh, though that also adds to its charm. All the best!
