Apartment L'etoile D'or

The terrace was lovely for breakfast in the sun, and the sauna was a great bonus. We had several raclette dinners in the living room, which worked perfectly for all 16 of us. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, and the family chalet looks out over Mont Charvin and the valley with breathtaking views. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back!

For these prices, this chalet was very poor. The sheets and blankets were stained and dirty, and there was mold in the bathrooms. Lamps, pots, and doors were broken, the sauna had tape holding it together, and the Wi-Fi didn't work. I sent photos with a complaint to the agent and owner. They said nothing could be done, then claimed they'd never received any complaints.

The chalet was really well equipped, with a magnificent mountain view. It's also very conveniently located, just a couple of steps from the town center and the children's ESF. We had a great stay and I recommend it.

Avoid this chalet, it's dangerous. Some electrical equipment, including a bedside lamp, had exposed wires. My son got stuck to one for about 15 seconds, and the chalet's circuit breaker didn't trip. Our stay ended with a trip to the emergency room and then the hospital for serious burns. Accidents can happen anywhere, but you may not be covered by insurance. So far, the agency's and owner's insurers seem to be finding ways to avoid responsibility.
