Quiet Room B&b - at Domaine de La Bellière

We loved the peace and quiet, as well as the spacious room and big sheltered terrace. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were lovely extras. The cottage sits on a beautiful estate and is ideally placed for a visit to the Bird Park. We got excellent suggestions for nearby restaurants, and they even made the reservations for us, which was so thoughtful. Thanks for the warm welcome. We'd definitely come back if we get the chance to visit your beautiful region again.

The welcome was especially warm, and being surrounded by nature made for a lovely, relaxing weekend at Domaine de la Bellière with our two children. The rooms were spacious and very clean, with neatly ironed linens. Breakfast was all homemade and à la carte. The children even got a guided tour of the vegetable garden and a tasting. We had a wonderful time, it was perfect!

The owners welcomed us so warmly and offered us a drink when we arrived. We were really touched by their kindness and the conversations we shared. The house is beautifully furnished and decorated with a 4000 duck motif, and the grounds are lovely, with a spa and swimming pool. Our room was magnificent and had everything we needed, including very high-quality bedding and pillows. Since no restaurants were open on Monday evening, the owner made us a perfect dinner so we wouldn't end up at McDonald's. We also loved the seven-fruit sundae at breakfast, along with the homemade jams and cakes.

The rooms are decorated with taste and harmony, and breakfast was superb and generous. The fruit salad was something you won't find anywhere else! We also got excellent advice on local restaurants and things to do. The peaceful rural setting is a great base for exploring the Dombes region. We highly recommend it. A big thank you for a wonderful stay.
