The food was fantastic. A great choice for a special occasion.

The hake with candied lemon was a real treat. I’d worried it might be bitter, but it was sweet and not too bitter. The absinthe and candied fennel parfait was just as lovely, with aniseed flavors and a great mix of creamy, crunchy, and dry textures. It made for a wonderful evening for two. The setting is lovely, the welcome is warm, and you feel at ease right away. The menu is small, but it shows the chef’s quality and creativity. We also appreciated the little extras, from the amuse-bouches to the petits fours. If you’re in the area, this restaurant is not to be missed.

The terrace is lovely, and the setting is beautiful, with decor chosen with great taste. The service was very attentive, and the refined food deserves a mention. The wine selection introduced us to quality wines from southern France. It’s very good value for money, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. For the indoor rooms, a few curtains or drapes on the doors and windows might add a little extra warmth to an already attractive space. The meal was superb, and the food deserves a Michelin star.

It was my first visit, and what a pleasant surprise so close to home. The Valentine's Day menu was exquisite from beginning to end, and the service was impeccable. The restaurant is in a lovely old house with a beautifully decorated dining room. Definitely worth the trip.
