We’ve been coming back for three years and enjoy it every time. The peaceful, rejuvenating setting is part of it, but so is the warm welcome. The owners are attentive and discreet, serve a delicious breakfast, and have beautifully decorated rooms. They love their adopted home and are always happy to suggest villages to visit or wines to taste, just ask! This year they were especially welcoming to our 3-month-old baby, providing a crib and baby bath. We haven’t found that kind of enthusiasm at our other holiday destinations. I highly recommend it.

We enjoyed this stay every bit as much as the two times we came before. Maya and Eric were so welcoming and always ready to answer our questions. The region is magnificent, and the house is full of peace and serenity. The pool was lovely for a morning swim before breakfast or a dip at the end of the day. Breakfast was delicious, especially with the homemade jams. Thank you, Maya and Eric.

It’s a beautiful house in a lovely little town, but the bedding needs replacing. Our whole group slept badly all week. The owner also kept part of the security deposit over a router damaged in a storm, which felt quite dishonest, and we had no way to contest it. What a shame. You can find other houses with the same charm for the same price elsewhere.

The rooms are small, but very comfortable, and the pool is charming. The house is lovely, the food delicious, and the owners were incredibly kind and considerate. We had a warm welcome that lasted throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

The peaceful setting makes it easy to unwind, and Villedieu is a lovely village with small restaurants for evenings when you don’t feel like cooking. At Maison de Mayaric, the holiday feeling starts as soon as you arrive. The owners have renovated this stunning home beautifully while respecting its authenticity. We loved having an aperitif in the courtyard, with the tower of Villedieu visible in the distance when the gate was open. We’ll definitely come back!
