Breakfast the next morning was delicious, and we ate by a roaring fire. After arriving very late, my friend and I were greeted kindly and shown to a beautiful room. Everything felt clean, inviting, and just right. A real gem.

The gardens were lovely to look out on, and the bedding was comfortable. It’s a very peaceful place to unwind, with a charming traditional house and beautifully kept grounds. Breakfast was superb, with nearly everything homemade, and all the toiletries were provided, even toothbrushes. The owner was away, but her employee was kind and helpful, and really went out of her way for guests. A big thank you to her. The booking process was a bit of a drawback, and check-in was somewhat slow while the owner was absent.

We stopped at a beautiful, classy place on our way to Paris. Madame's flowers brought extra brightness to the carefully crafted setting, which had a Second Empire feel. Breakfast was regal but still wonderfully convivial. It’s also a lovely place to visit near Auxerre.

Everything here feels calm and peaceful, and the rooms and suites are beautifully refined. Monique welcomes us so warmly. It’s hard not to fall in love with her and her home.

The hosts were so warm, open, and welcoming, and the homemade meals were lovely. Such calm, charming surroundings. A fantastic experience, I’d definitely recommend it!
