We skipped eating there after seeing the state of the rooms and shared areas, and went to the little hotel across the road, Abbaye, which has a nice restaurant. I wouldn't risk the breakfast either. Honestly, advertising this place in its current condition feels like a cheek. Come on Campanille, get it sorted. It needs a full upgrade. The whole place is dated and grubby, the toilet needed a proper clean, and the net curtains and dusty, web-covered windows needed washing. They call it three star, but to me it's half a star.

We'd paid for breakfast so we could get on with our onward journey, and arrived when it was supposed to open at 7. By 7:15, with other people waiting too, there was still no food laid out and no staff around. Reception was shut, and it was clear breakfast wasn't going to happen. When we arrived, we were also told there was no food available because the restaurant was full, even though there were only four people in it.

The staff were very nice, but the hotel itself isn't well looked after and wasn't clean enough. There's no hair dryer in the rooms, either. Breakfast wasn't good enough for the price of €9.90, so I wouldn't recommend the hotel for its facilities.

The bed was very comfortable, and breakfast was okay, though simple. The bathroom wasn't clean. The hotel really needs a makeover, it's depressing to see.

We were driving further south and would stay here again. It's a good, basic hotel with a restaurant, and they were very helpful getting us a cot for our young child. There was also parking for our car and trailer.
