Pascal and Valerie made us feel so welcome, and dinner with the wonderful wine was a real treat. We came across this little piece of paradise while driving through the French countryside and, though we hadn’t booked ahead, there happened to be a room free. It was beautiful and spotlessly clean. We were amazed by the hospitality.

We brought our dogs along, and they loved being able to roam around in such a big garden 😊. The couple running the hotel were incredibly welcoming ☺️, and it’s a lovely relaxing base for a few days if you want to explore some of the beautiful villages nearby.

It’s a very peaceful spot, a nice escape from city noise if you want to unwind. Breakfast was full, and the service was perfect. The room is spacious and very clean, though the rustic style won’t suit everyone. The bathrooms look a bit dated, but they’re spotless and fully functional, with hot water and a working shower. Towels and soap or shower gel are provided. The bed was fine even for someone with back pain, and the place offers good value for money.

We regularly stop here during our holiday trips because the rooms are very comfortable and the nights are quiet. The meals are superb, with local dishes and drinks that were just right. The owners are wonderfully attentive and quick to respond while still giving you space. It’s a real haven of peace.
