The restaurant staff were welcoming and professional, and we found the food and drink prices reasonable. Our family also appreciated the cot already in the lodge, and the on-site shop had plenty of essentials and other useful items. We stayed at Center Parcs Villages Nature Paris for a Disneyland Paris visit. The grounds are huge, clean, and generally well kept, and there was lots to do. Our lodge felt spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. The bus to Disneyland Paris took quite a while, though, since it wasn't a direct route and stopped several times. The decking overlooking the lake was in bad shape, with rotten sections and poor repairs that seemed potentially unsafe. We'd happily come back, but hope maintenance improves in some areas.

The gardens were lovely, but there wasn't much shaded seating. Getting around was frustrating too: the signs were confusing and sometimes pointed the wrong way. In 33 degree heat, we went around in circles trying to find the tree top experience. We visited during a record heat wave, which made the service problems harder to ignore. For the price, I expected more than two old fans in the house, one of them broken, especially after staying in cheaper camping villages with air conditioning in every mobile home. Day visitors filled the pools, while facilities weren't staffed enough and parts of Aquamundo were still closed. Staff seemed overwhelmed, though the people working did their best. It felt like cost-cutting decisions hadn't been properly thought through or supported. There were also confusing rules and facilities. The website said we could bring food and eat in the pool cafeteria, but staff were told otherwise. Shoes had to come off before the changing area, where the floor was slippery, and there were no full length mirrors. We still enjoyed our time, but it felt overpriced.

The resort's size and natural setting really surprised us. My family doesn't usually stay in nature resorts, and it was a beautiful first experience. My younger sister loved it, especially since we'd come to Paris for her birthday, and she enjoyed celebrating her 9th birthday there. After a long day walking more than 9.6 kilometres around Paris, we were exhausted. We'd checked out of our previous hotel around 10am after only falling asleep at about 4am. The wristbands were a clever touch, since we could use them to open our own room doors and had several for our group of four, rather than worrying about hotel cards. The room wasn't available until 4pm, though, so we had to open our suitcases at reception before swimming and changing. At least it was quiet and went smoothly. Aqua Mundo was fun, and my sister and I especially liked moving between the indoor and outdoor areas. Later, one staff member sent us upstairs when our room was downstairs, and carrying more than six pieces of luggage made that a pain. Nobody was available to help escort the bags, which was daunting in such a huge place, but fortunately the room was close to reception. When my sister's suitcase lock wouldn't open, the cycle centre staff were both helpful. The supermarket was handy for basics like bread and eggs, and having a router in every room meant the WiFi stayed at three bars for me, better than the two I often get on holiday. We all loved the stay and found most of the staff helpful. A few snags made the first day overwhelming, so that's why I gave four stars, but we appreciated the help and had a lovely time.

There was plenty to keep everyone busy, from spa treatments to the water slides at the Aqualagon. The kids had a blast, and we explored the gardens and trails together. Dining options were varied and tasty, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I spent a fantastic weekend at Center Parcs Villages Nature Paris. Its natural surroundings were a welcome break from city life, and our spacious, well-equipped accommodations felt like a cozy home away from home. I also liked the village's eco-friendly features. It's a great place for families or anyone wanting to unwind in nature, and I can't wait to return.

I wasn't sure I'd chosen well when I booked, even though it was cheaper than the other Disney options. Turns out four nights wasn't enough, and I wish I'd had at least one more full day on site. The apartment was much bigger than I expected and had everything we needed. We couldn't get the hobs working, but didn't know until then that pasta could be cooked in the microwave. We barely wanted to leave the pool, and neither did the kids. We spent most of the day there and still hadn't had enough. The shop was brilliant and stocked almost all the food you'd need, the pizza restaurant was delicious, and the arcade was great for an hour before bed. The place is amazing. Can't wait to tell everyone, and I'll definitely be back as soon as I can.
