The garden could use a little care. It would have been nice to sit outside in a chair instead of on the back steps. The place was very clean and tidy, though, and once I understood the layout, I’d be happy to come back. Our top-floor room had its own bathroom; elsewhere, the bathroom and kitchen/lounge/dining area are shared. The kitchen has basic things for what I assume are short stays, but it was more than enough to make an evening meal. There was quite a wait for the access codes.

The rooms felt secure and were very clean. There could have been more plates, cups, and glasses, but that wouldn’t stop me from staying again. I’d recommend the place and would return if I needed to.

The only real positive was that the appliances seemed pretty new. The floors were very dirty, and the bed was uncomfortable, with sheets, duvet, and pillow that felt like cheap plastic. Every window had been left wide open, and the room was full of moths. I had to kill 20-25 of them. There was also a huge cockroach in the living room. I left it alone because it was so big and wasn’t bothering anyone. My girlfriend was so unsettled she actually cried. We didn’t feel fully safe in the rather sketchy neighborhood. It’s no wonder it was so hard to get an Uber or taxi from the airport. There were no restaurants or grocery stores close by, so we had to spend extra on Uber Eats. Communication was poor too. The owner hadn’t sent directions, so I had to call to work out how to check in. Our flight was cancelled and everything else was sold out, so we asked for an extra hour or two for checkout to avoid getting to the airport so early. The owner wouldn’t allow it. If he’d agreed to even that small request, I’d rate the stay higher.

We booked a shared B&B with complimentary breakfast, but all they gave us was a small piece of cake. The service was really horrible, and we didn’t feel safe at all. The apartment chief was staying in the living room after getting fully drunk. I strongly advise families not to choose this place.
