Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and Folco was a thoughtful, kind host who went out of his way to make us comfortable. The property felt gorgeous all around, from our room and the city views to the quiet neighborhood and the pool, which had a real “Secret Garden” feel. We had an unbelievable stay and highly recommend it.

Villeneuve is a beautiful village just beyond central Avignon, with good restaurants a short walk away. Folco was a generous, welcoming host, and breakfast was the best you'll have, with local fruit, cheese and more. The property has lovely, wide-open peaceful views. Central Avignon is close, and you can also drive to nearby sites.

The view across the whole area was gorgeous, and the owner was wonderfully attentive. Breakfast was delicious, and we found the place comfortable, beautiful and convenient for exploring the area. With a car, I think Maison Orsini is THE BEST place to stay in Avignon, especially with its private protected parking across the street. We loved it and very much want to come back. Go to Maison Orsini!

The setting makes it easy to explore Avignon and Villeneuve-les-Avignon. Villeneuve-les-Avignon is about a 10 minute walk away, a beautiful old French village that has kept its charm, and Fort St Andre nearby is spectacular and not to be missed. Avignon Park and Ride is a 5 minute drive; from there, old town Avignon is a 15 minute walk, with all the history, architecture and art to see. Our host, Folco, was incredibly welcoming and courteous. He spoke English with my partner and me, showed us to our room, helped with our bags, suggested restaurants, helped us book one, and served a great breakfast each morning. He deserves all the credit in the world. The grounds were gorgeous, the rooms spacious and comfortable, and the rustic style felt authentically southern French. We also had a beautiful view across the Rhone toward Avignon and the Palais des Papes. This was my favorite stop on my road trip around France. I hope to return to Avignon, and I'd definitely stay here again.
