We were there for four days over Ascension. The view was lovely and it seemed quiet at first, but there was scaffolding and construction work going on. The apartment was small and up in the attic, and the electrical wiring felt old-fashioned. The soundproofing was... well, soundproof, I suppose. We were told to leave the car outside. There’s a paid lot nearby, but it costs €25 for seven hours. Over four days, that adds up fast. Free parking is available, though it’s far away. It felt like making money was the priority. The Normandy coast is all about cashing in.

There’s no parking at the residence itself. You have to leave the car at another residence, 800 meters away!!!!

The wildlife is wonderful, with geese nesting, swans, and other migratory birds around, and there are lovely walks through the green surroundings. The beach has good sanitary facilities, play areas for children and adults, and a fitness trail. I was so pleased and surprised by these initiatives. The area has improved so much. The owner has been here since 1980, and it’s lovely to see how much has changed.

The room, kitchen, and everything else were great, really superb ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. The problem is parking: the residence lot can't be accessed, and parking in town is paid 😡.
10/10
A gate from the residence makes it easy to get straight to the beach. It’s a superb location, right by the marsh too, with the beach close by and its sports facilities, children’s carousel, and restaurant.
