We made good use of the pool, with plenty of chairs around it and on our apartment's private balcony. The apartment was spotless and comfortably large enough for our family of three, and the hosts were very welcoming. Breakfast is available, along with some evening dishes, and their summer barbecue nights are fun to join. From the hotel it's a pleasant 10-minute walk into town and 15 minutes to the beach. The coastal bus stops on the main route here, making it easy to reach other towns. A charming place, and we'd highly recommend it.

The hosts were so engaging and welcoming that we felt right at home. We went for a swim, tried the sofabed, and had breakfast, all worth recommending. We had meant to walk into town for dinner, but the weather changed our plans, and Thierry's generous cocktails made staying in even more tempting. We loved our night here.

Everyone on staff was wonderful, and the place is a great base for getting around. Dauville is only 15 minutes away by car, while the centre of viller and the beachfront are a 10-minute walk. For a clean 2-star hotel with a pool, it felt well worth five stars to me. I wouldn't choose the breakfast, though. You're better off trying a local boulangerie or cafe.

For €85 a night, I didn't book the most expensive option, but the terrace, lounge, swimming pool, and music made this one of the best value hotels I've stayed in. I've been to hotels around the world, and this one really stood out.
