Les Résidences Lagrange Classic Villers-sur-Mer

I was left without a room for the next two nights, and I’m furious. I booked Residence Lagrange months ago and everything seemed fine. The payment came out of my account two days before I arrived, so I thought my stay was still confirmed. I got there at the 3pm check-in time, but there was nobody to greet me, not even a reception desk. I messaged through the booking website and got no reply. I could see stairs and hear noise in the rooms, so I assumed there must still be a room for me, but there was still no one around to check me in. When I called, they finally answered and told me they were renovating and I couldn’t stay there. Apparently they hadn’t bothered to tell me, even though this must have been planned months in advance. They gave me a simple “sorry” and I demanded a full refund. The service was unprofessional, rude, lazy and disrespectful. Leaving the accommodation listed on a booking site and letting guests arrive with no room and no warning is disgusting. Don’t stay here unless you want to lose your money and be left with nowhere to sleep. I have no words… furious 😡😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
