There's some discord in the town council at the moment. The former mayor is due to go to trial for workplace harassment!

My first experience was a disaster. Traffic was badly managed, and getting around as a disabled person was complicated. There are far too many reserved spaces, and sports cars are taking them. They all seem to have disabled parking permits. Does charging €25 for 7 hours really put many people off? It feels like they just want to make as much money as they can now. Once the beach is gone, the hotels and villas won't have any monetary appeal left. Villers is a coastline to avoid.

The beach keeps getting worse, it's dirty and not raked, and the crowd it attracts seems worse every year. The parking fees are outrageous, practically highway robbery. This is my last year here.

We went to see the Black Cow Cliffs, and it's a lovely little corner of paradise. But I was saddened to see a family digging into the ground with shovels, picks, hammers and chisels. That kind of activity contributes to coastal erosion. I hope the area will be monitored, because tourists are showing a blatant lack of respect for natural spaces.
