Émilie made us feel very welcome, and she speaks perfect French and English. She was attentive without hovering and happy to share recommendations for this gorgeous little corner of France. The grounds are beautifully maintained, green and lush, and such a peaceful place to unwind. We missed out on using the pool as planned, but it looked so inviting in the sunshine on the morning we left that I nearly stayed for a lazy afternoon. My friend was visiting from Chicago, and I wanted somewhere comfortable with that famous French charm. The photos online won me over. Émilie has carefully renovated the old building, bringing modern comforts to its thick stone walls and lovely patina. Each of the four bedrooms has its own exquisite details. The grand dining room where breakfast is served is just as lovely, and don’t skip breakfast. Everything was delicious, especially the yogurts. We spent two wonderful nights here. Let yourself lose track of time in Villespy!

The park views from our spacious, comfortable room were magnificent, and the meals were delicious. My wife and I had a wonderful weekend at Domaine de Villespy, with a warm welcome from the start. 10/10, I highly recommend it.

There’s plenty to explore in the surrounding area, with lots of sights and things to do. We could easily have stayed another week. At the gite, we enjoyed the terrace, the park right beside it, and the ping-pong table. The swimming pool opened during our second week, and we had a lovely refreshing dip. The place was clean and well-equipped, and Emilie was a great hostess: welcoming, attentive in a comfortable way, and providing excellent service. It was a wonderful, relaxing stay.

The grounds are magnificent, and we made the most of both them and the swimming pool. Our stay at Domaine de Villespy was wonderful. The hosts were so attentive, the rooms superb, and the bedding really comfortable. It was a peaceful haven at the end of our vacation, and we’d gladly return.

The hosts were welcoming and accommodating, and the table d'hôtes served delicious dishes made with local produce. Though the cottage is self-contained, we could enjoy the whole property, including the park, pool, trampoline, and swing set. We spent two days there for a peaceful weekend with our two-year-old daughter. The cottage has been tastefully renovated and is very well-equipped, with really comfortable bedding. I highly recommend it for a relaxing break in a charming setting.
