Aymery greeted us warmly, and his English was amazing. Beatrice was just as lovely and friendly. The place itself is charming, from the bedroom, which had everything we could need, to the stylish, new and functional bathroom. Driving up the driveway took our breath away. It’s a real hidden gem, and I’d gladly stay again. 10/10.

The owner is a really nice person, from an old local family, and knows the area well. He’ll tell you what you need to know about the city, the region, and the Hundred Years’ War between the French and English. A really nice stay, and definitely worth stopping for.

The room and bathroom were spotless, comfortable, and charming. Our host also helped us discover some beautiful churches nearby. We were welcomed so warmly, and breakfast in the garden under the trees was delicious, generous, and varied.
