Fine if all you need is somewhere to sleep.

It’s disgusting, absolutely filthy, and the rooms are noisy. This feels more like a squat than a hotel. Run away.

The cockroaches were hard to ignore. Hygiene was appalling, almost unsanitary, and the service was unprofessional. I wasn’t even given a bill. How can a two-star place be run like this? A night to forget.

The rooms are modern and have the basics, including a TV, bedside lights, mirror and wardrobe. Housekeeping comes daily to make the beds and replace towels, reception is friendly, and someone is at the hotel entrance day and night. Rates are affordable, and public transport connections are very good. For a few days or a budget weekend in Lyon, it can do the job. There are some real drawbacks, though. Cleanliness is hit or miss, with questionable stains on the bed and little dust bunnies. The elevator is very narrow and creepy, like it might collapse at any moment. The walls are thin enough that I could hear neighbors snoring, people coming and going in the hall, and doors slamming. There’s no shower curtain, so water can end up everywhere.
