The cottage made a great little base for a few nights while we were heading home and wanted to see Château de Fontainbleau and the area around it. It’s simply furnished, but everything inside is just right. Tucked into a lovely courtyard in a pretty village, too. Fontainbleau is easy to reach, as are places like Barbizon and walks in the nearby forest. Highly recommend!

We found La Petit Cour in a lovely little French village near Fountainbleau while looking for a stop on our drive from the South of France to the Netherlands. The house was spotless and had everything we needed, and the owner was quick to respond whenever we had a question. There’s a beautiful forest right by the village for hiking and bouldering, and Paris is only about an hour away by car. Our stay was short but just right. We wished we could’ve stayed longer, so we’ll definitely book again next time and make it a longer visit.

Alexandre was so welcoming, and communication before and after our stay was excellent. The house is comfortable, nicely decorated, and very well equipped. It’s such a peaceful spot for resting and recharging, with forest walks nearby. We’d recommend it without hesitation.

The online guide to how the appliances work and what to see in the area was a great idea. Alexandre was discreet, but available and happy to offer advice about exploring the region. We had a lovely stay in this gîte, which is very well equipped and tastefully furnished. Céline and Stéphan.

The bed was high quality, a 160x200 cm mattress, and everything seemed set up with guests’ comfort in mind. The accommodation was very clean and pleasant, with all the equipment we needed. It’s in a quiet little village, close to Fontainebleau Forest and lots of picturesque villages. Thanks to Alexandre for the warm welcome.
