Séjours & Affaires - Paris Vincennes is a practical, good value place for a short stay near Paris. The rooms are spacious, with a kitchenette, flat-screen TV, and soundproof windows. Fresh pastries and fruit at the continental breakfast were a nice touch. The gym is useful for keeping active, and the laundry facilities are handy for longer stays. It's not luxurious, and some guests say the service could be better, but it's comfortable and affordable. Public transport is easy to reach from this well-located hotel.

I’ve been to France many times, but it was my son’s first visit. He’s at UCLA and is considering studying abroad; one of his physics professors teaches in France seasonally. I was worried about finding somewhere affordable and comfortable, so we were very fortunate to find this cute apartment hotel in a quaint French neighborhood.

We stayed in the apartment over Christmas, and the area was very quiet. The location isn't central, but it's strategic, just a few minutes' walk from Vincennes metro station. The apartment was lovely, very clean, and had excellent furnishings and lots of comforts. The only issue was that the perfume sprayed by the staff smelled too strong. We had a pleasant stay.

For the daily rate, you won't find anything better. Having a kitchen in the room was a real plus and made our stay comfortable. There's a nice view of the Eiffel Tower, but the RER is right in front, so it's noisy if you leave the window open. Parking costs 12 euros a day, or you can use a paid space outside. If reception is closed when you arrive, you can't use the parking and have to leave the car outside.
