Our daughter had a couple of the free kids’ activities and loved them, especially since they were nature-based. We also made good use of the pool. The bar, bread, and laundry cost more than we’re used to, though they’re optional. It was our first Huttopia stay, and the family-friendly setup made a week in nature easy and comfortable. We’d come back.

The staff were so friendly and always took time to answer our questions. We spent 10 days in a mobile home and had a great time. The view from it was fantastic, and the area worked well for hiking, cycling, sightseeing, or just taking it easy. Highly recommended!

The price was the highest of any campsite I stayed at during a month in France. It’s a lovely site with a great pool and might suit families, but it really isn’t set up for cyclists.

We were glad to find clean, tidy tents and communal showers and toilets that were well looked after, plus a lovely pool and some home comforts. It’s a quiet spot surrounded by nature, so it’s easy to switch off. This was our second Huttopia stay, both times in a Canadienne tent. The staff were welcoming and helpful, suggested places to visit nearby, and remembered small things about us, like where we were from. After a rough night of storms, they checked that we were okay, which meant a lot. The site is about a two-hour drive from Carcassonne, with charming little communes around it. There’s also a path from the campsite to Cordes-sur-ciel, about a 30-minute walk. We were very pleased and would recommend it to others exploring this part of France.
