Breakfast was a lovely surprise: coffee and fresh bread. I'd gone to the bakery for bread at 7:30, after telling the owner I'd like breakfast at 8:00, and he had asked whether we'd prefer tea or coffee. The owner opened the door himself and was concerned we hadn't eaten since it was getting late. He was very kind. The house is beautifully kept, with stylish decor and a gorgeous exterior. I only planned to stay one night to avoid going through Paris, and expected something like the places I'd seen elsewhere in France. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise, a perfect B&B. I'll definitely come back.

There's an extra bedroom for the children, as shown in the photo. The garden is really beautiful, and the host is incredibly good. Breakfast is brought every morning. Montereau is an hour away by train, so Paris is easy to reach.

Alain is a lovely, fascinating owner, and communicating with him was easy and friendly. The guesthouse is quiet and spacious, with everything well equipped. The garden is magnificent. I highly recommend it!

My husband usually prefers hotels, but he was delighted here. The place feels magical and peaceful, and it's exceptionally clean, charming, and well looked after. The owner is lovely and very accommodating. A truly serene stay.
