The owner wouldn't refund us after we tried to cancel right away. He said at first that cancellation depended on the booking, but in the end he didn't think the rooms being impossible to air out was a valid reason. The Covid-19 measures felt insufficient too. In the studio, the windows don't open, except for a skylight in the upstairs second dorm.

Loved the breakfast, and the B&B itself was lovely too. The garden was beautiful, the pool was nice, and the rooms were pleasant.

We were just passing through, but this guesthouse made the stop feel special. Its historic setting still has plenty of authentic charm, while the elegant rooms are modern and well equipped, with lovely roomy bathrooms. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade items, and the welcome was warm without being over the top.

A great gîte for a quick stop or a longer visit. We got a really friendly welcome.
