Le Clos Pastel

We were grateful for the warmth and steady kindness of Claude, his charming wife, and his grandson Louis. Their welcome made the stay feel personal and heartwarming, and we’re already wishing we could come back for more of that peaceful, unhurried feeling. The animals were lovely company too: the chickens, the very beautiful cats, and especially Blue, such an adorable dog. Breakfast was full of carefully chosen, authentic flavors, and we enjoyed the simple pleasures of each dish. The green setting drew us in as soon as we arrived. It felt like a quiet haven where we could slow down, take in the surroundings, and feel time stand still.

We booked both rooms for my first flight in Cordes-sur-Ciel, and the cozy house had such a welcoming feel. Breakfast was generous: my husband loved the waffles, the children enjoyed the fruit juices, and I was happy with the local bread and the animals. Thank you, Claude and Corinne, for being so kind and hospitable. Wishing you lots of happiness and continued success.

The outside was peaceful and enchanting, with a magnificent swimming pool, and Claude was a great source of advice on nearby activities and restaurants. His welcome was just right, kind and attentive while still giving us space. Our room was comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated. A lovely spot to rest and relax at Clos Pastel. We stayed the night of August 23-24, 2024.

The packed lunch and breakfast were both generous and delicious, and Claude and Corinne gave us excellent advice for visiting the medieval villages. They were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. Our room was well equipped, the bed extremely comfortable, and the location wonderfully peaceful. The garden was beautifully kept too.
