6/10
The main thing that let down our otherwise restful stay was the restaurant service. The food was good, but staff were inconsistent and not attentive enough, which took away from the experience. Domaine de Rochebois is an elegant, quiet spa hotel in a beautiful natural setting. The rooms are comfortable and thoughtfully designed, and the spa facilities are very high quality. The place has a refined, relaxing feel, and the restaurant setting and cuisine met expectations. Better service there would help Domaine de Rochebois live up to its full potential and rank among the region’s best spa hotels.

We chose this place for my father’s birthday and had such a great time. The food and facilities both went beyond what we expected. From the restaurant, bar, pool, and our rooms, there was a lovely view to enjoy. There are also some cute nearby towns we wished we’d had more time to explore.

The whole visit was wonderful, and we’re sure to return. Mickaël greeted us warmly, then carved the delicious aged chateaubriand with perigord plum brandy for us at dinner. The location was beautiful.

2/10
The pool was dirty, and the sauna they advertised wasn’t there at all. That says a lot about the customer service. The hotel also had a cold atmosphere that made the stay uncomfortable. This didn’t feel like a five-star experience by any standard.

2/10
Domaine de Rochebois looks appealing, but the experience doesn’t match the appearance. The staff weren’t attentive, and service overall was lacking. There wasn’t much atmosphere, and the amenities were underwhelming, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re expecting a genuine high-end stay.
