Our lunch for nine was superb, cooked just right, and the welcome and service were every bit as good. I highly recommend the restaurant, and hopefully we'll be back soon!

I'd driven past this hotel and restaurant several times thinking, "must try that one." What a disappointment. The atmosphere felt like the Bates Motel. We tried the fixed price menu at around 60 Euro. The Amusse Buche was pea soup blitzed smooth with a dollop of cream, which wasn't funny, and the Duck seemed like it came from the Flintstones freezer. Dessert was strawberry, so hard to get that wrong. We paid 140 Euros for two, which was exorbitant. I don't know where the food photos came from, but they didn't look like this place. There are so many excellent restaurants around here for less than 60E pp. Avoid at all costs.

The locally sourced food is exceptional, from the oeuf and thon to le canard and le cochon, right through to the lovely desserts. Service is friendly, and it's one of the region's best restaurants. We've eaten there twice even though we weren't hotel guests, which says a lot. We recommend it wholeheartedly.

I had a quiet, peaceful three-night stay while exploring the region by kayak and visiting cave paintings and castles. The food is fabulous, and getting a clean, comfortable room for the price was icing on the cake. Don't hesitate to book here.

At the Port de Vitrac, this older hotel sits between two main intersections. The room was showing its age, and breakfast was mediocre. Still, the overnight stay was inexpensive, 51 euros plus 20 for breakfast for two.
