B&B Hotel Vitry-sur-Seine

For the money, the hotel was okay, though it wasn’t as clean as we’d expected. The parking was free and felt safe, which was a big plus. If you mainly need somewhere to sleep while spending the day in Paris, it’s not a bad choice. The cleanliness is why I’m giving it 3 stars.

I was happy with my one-night stay. The room was clean, the towels were soft, and the WiFi was acceptable. The front desk employee was very nice. Parking behind the building was tight but safe, and there’s a supermarket 200m away. I paid about 85 euros.

The bathroom sink was blocked and held water, the air conditioning didn’t work, and there were mosquitoes everywhere. On top of that, construction noise was loud and the French woman at reception was rude. A disastrous stay. Never again at this shitty hotel or BnB.

We were wary of booking because of all the bad reviews and low average ratings, but our stay went better than we expected. Reception was great and let us leave our luggage after checkout. The simple room was fine for one night, and nothing went wrong. It’s a budget hotel, so we got what we paid for. I’d probably give it 4 stars, but I’m leaving 5 to help lift the average.
