We paid for the place through expedia.com, but when we arrived we were told they don’t take online bookings. It was hard to communicate because the man at reception didn’t want to help or understand that we were tourists who don’t speak French. I know the booking problem probably wasn’t his fault, but we weren’t treated well during our stay either. Booking online feels like a scam. 3 stars.

The coffee was nice, the menu was good, and the service was friendly...

It was okay.

There were insects in the rooms, and mine wasn’t always clean. Noise carried badly because there was no soundproofing, and it stayed noisy until 1 a.m. during lockdown. The owner doesn’t seem to care about the noise or the condition of the rooms. Avoid it completely.

Close to Vitry train station and affordable, with a clean room and a reasonably comfortable bed. It was fairly good overall, though the tap was broken and the TV looked like it was about to fall off the wall. There was also plenty of noise outside during the day, so it wasn’t the quietest place.
