The art in the rooms really stayed with us. Claire has a refined designer's eye, and the pieces are chosen with such care. She’s turned the little castle into a lovely blend of classic and modern, and made us feel so well looked after. It stole our hearts.

Claire was a wonderful host, and chatting with her was a pleasure. She even helped us book dinners at restaurants. The daily cleaning and breakfast were a lovely surprise in an apartment. Breakfast was simple but somehow magical, and beautifully presented. We had the largest room on the second floor, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a spacious living room. The furnishings were perfectly designed, everything felt new and modern, and the window looked out over the garden with Château de Saumur in the distance. The mattress was just right, though I forgot to ask Claire what model it was. The house and garden are beautiful. The lawn was neatly trimmed, with patio furniture and a swimming pool. It was chilly, unfortunately, so I didn’t get to dive in, though I really wanted to. Everything about our stay was perfect, the best experience of our trip.
