La Secrète

Christophe gave us a warm welcome, and we really enjoyed chatting with him. From the room, we could see the village rooftops and castle, and the village itself is beautiful, with one lovely alley after another. The room was comfortable, and we had a peaceful night in a perfect bed. There's also a nice little area with hot drinks, a microwave, and a fridge. Breakfast was more than generous, so much that it was hard to try everything.

I've stayed in plenty of places on romantic weekends, and this is the best one yet. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very well equipped, with a huge bed made from one mattress rather than two. There's a fridge in the room, and the owner is a must-see! Even though it's right in the village centre, it's so quiet, and there's a raised terrace full of greenery. Simply incredible.

Christophe really looks after his guests. He's friendly, available, and full of useful ideas for walks and sightseeing. His meals are high quality too, with Ardèche specialties made from seasonal ingredients. Breakfast was fresh and generous, served out on the terrace. We had a wonderful weekend in this guesthouse, renovated with great taste. The spacious, peaceful rooms open straight onto a lovely terrace with a view of the castle.

We were very happy with our stay. The rooms were spotless and nicely furnished, and breakfast on the terrace came with a lovely view over the old village. The beach on the Ardèche is only a few steps away. What more could you ask for?
