Best Western Voiron Centre

The hotel's modern, charming décor feels thoughtfully put together, and our room was clean, comfortable, and well organized, though a little small. We stopped here on our way to the French Alps. The reception team greeted us kindly and made us feel at ease straight away. Police barriers were blocking the road to the hotel, so getting to the parking area was a bit difficult. That wasn't the hotel's fault.

Breakfast was good, and the place itself was quiet and pleasant. Justine, who runs the breakfast area, is lovely, professional, and really understands customer service. Most of the staff made for a pleasant stay, though one woman on the night front desk was a bit rude.

The location worked really well, with a lovely park across the street and the Wednesday and Saturday market only a few steps away. Breakfast was good, although there weren't any vegetables. Kyriad management might consider leaving complimentary water bottles each day instead of only on arrival. We stayed four nights. Thanks to Anise at reception for the excellent service, helpful shopping tips, and for speaking English. The room was warm, clean, and OK, but felt a bit cramped for two people over four days. There were no closets or closed shelves for storing our things.

The staff are great, and having free parking on site is a plus. The rooms were dirty, though, and I wouldn't want to spend more time in one than I absolutely had to. It’s fine for the price if you just need a place to sleep while passing through, but I wouldn’t choose it for a longer stay.
