If you're hoping to get a real sense of living in Provence, this is a good place to stay. The B&B is in Volx, a quiet town without tourists, and Isabelle and Claude are lovely hosts who really want you to feel welcome. The rooms are large and comfortable, and breakfast comes with fresh bread, homemade jams, and coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Just be aware there's no A.C., so the rooms can get warm when summer temperatures hit 90, which is pretty common. There's no parking on site either. The lot is about 300 meters away.

Isabelle and Claude were welcoming hosts, and their house has a lovely atmosphere. It's a very old house, but in perfect condition, in the village of Volx. We enjoyed breakfast in the garden, especially the local bread and jams. Had a great time, and I'll definitely return!

The village is lively, with its shops and café terraces, and we loved it. We had a wonderful family stay at L'Escapade Capellane. The house was comfortable and welcoming, and Isabelle and Claude were incredibly kind and attentive hosts.

Isabelle and Claude made our stay at L'Escapade Capellane so enjoyable. They’re warm, knowledgeable hosts who really look after their guests, and their tips for seeing the region were spot-on. We loved the enchanting setting and the homemade organic breakfast, and the Wi-Fi was excellent, which meant we could keep in touch with our children. I’m glad we didn’t let the TripAdvisor reviews put us off. They struck us as slanderous, offensive, and false, and it seems unfair that overly critical comments about a place people don’t even own can be published unchecked. It was a perfect holiday with perfect hosts, well worth the trip.
