Marc, who owns the gîtes, knew the area well and was very kind. He gave us maps and information about the trails. The marked trekking routes are really nice and so well signed that it's hard to get lost. The house was lovely, and the food was great, both breakfast and apero+dinner. We had such a good time and wished we could have stayed for a few more days. I'd definitely like to come back.

After a long drive, we were treated to a three course meal, lovely company, and stories from around the world. We got lost, and the owner came all the way out to help us. 🙂 Breakfast the next morning was amazing, and he gave us recommendations for things to do and see. I highly recommend this place.

Marc made our stay even better with his cooking, and the accommodations were very comfortable. He welcomed us warmly, gave us excellent advice, and was a genuinely engaging person. Many thanks to our host. We highly recommend staying here! Roxane and Fabien

The name "Le Chant des Sources" (The Song of the Springs) really does fit. A small river runs below the property in a wooded valley, and the setting is peaceful and quiet. We stayed for a short break at the end of the season, in early September, and found the inside just as welcoming and comfortable as the surroundings. We had evening meals with our host, who is an excellent cook, and dinner often carried on into lively conversation. We enjoyed talking about all sorts of things, as well as meeting his charming wife, who was there on our first evening. Breakfasts were generous, and Mr. Marc Dumoulin used them to explain the plans and routes he'd put together to suit our preferences and the suggestions he'd heard the evening before. We knew very little about the area, so his advice helped us make the most of our stay. Leaving brought a touch of nostalgia, and we already felt the pull to return to this lovely region, the place, and its owner.

Mr. Marc Dumoulin was a charming host, proud of his region and quick to suggest routes for exploring nearby. The accommodation was magnificent, combining modern and traditional styles, and both dinner and breakfast were very generous. We had a wonderful stay in beautiful Alsace. A superb visit, and you can book with complete confidence.
