The homemade marmalade and breakfast were unforgettable, and dinner was delicious. The owner made the evening feel warm and special. I also loved how thoughtfully the house is equipped, with lots of recycled materials and a clear green mindset. The owner is so hospitable and helpful, and the service feels like it comes from genuine care, not just for the money. Gladly, I'd come back :-)

We only had four of us, so I was surprised to learn the gîte can sleep up to ten. There’s a big private garden, plenty of spots to relax, and lots of bathrooms. The house is in good shape and has everything you need, including a full kitchen, free WiFi, and musical instruments. The owner welcomed us in person, handed over the keys, showed us around, and suggested restaurants. He even made breakfast himself, and was so friendly that we felt right at home. Such a charming place near Dunkirque, France.

The garden was lovely, with vegetables growing and a few chickens, and there’s a nice town nearby where you can try the local beer and cheese. Inside, the room was pleasant, with a good bed and shower. The interior has real charm, and the host was great.
