We didn't stay at the hotel, but we had an excellent traditional Alsatian meal there. The food and staff were fantastic. Don't miss it if you're after authentic Alsace.

The food was really nice, but the service was painfully slow. It's family-run, and when it got busy they seemed unable to keep up. After the main course, it took ages to get the dessert menu. Then, after we wanted to order, they forgot to come back. We asked for the bill, waited another 15 minutes for them to take our payment, and then five more for the change.

The room was great, and the staff were pleasant and attentive. The food and wine were fantastic too.

The rooms were clean, the food was good, and the owners were friendly. Nothing negative to report.

I came back recently for lunch after being here five years ago. The standards are still at the highest level.
