The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, and the view was lovely. But I wouldn’t book this place again at that price. It looked much more worn than the photos suggested, with stained carpets, taped-on room numbers, damaged furniture and some mold in the bathrooms. The rooms themselves were still clean, though. There are two hotels under the same company, one in Wissant’s center and this one on the outskirts. The booking site showed pictures of both, so we were confused when we arrived. There’s no reception here: you get a WhatsApp message with a lift code for the dark garage, then find your floor and an unlocked room with the key on the bed. Staff were quick to answer questions on WhatsApp, which helped. Parking is limited, but there’s public parking across the road. The center is walkable in theory, though we found it easier to drive. No tea, coffee or drinks facilities, just breakfast in the morning, which we didn’t try.

A handy place for a comfortable overnight stop. We booked directly and saved a lot; the owner emailed the access details, and parking was good. The room was basic but comfy, and even had a bath. Bars and restaurants are close by. Very nice for the price.

After seven hours on the road, having to hunt around town for the off-site reception was really irritating. A map on the window would’ve been the bare minimum. I ended up asking at the tourist information office to find the right street and building. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, and the view was tremendous.

The room was roomy but really cold in winter, and there was no Wi-Fi. We’d booked an ocean view, but you can’t see the ocean from the hotel, so that claim wasn’t true. Service was poor too: nobody took us to the hotel. They just handed over the key, leaving us to find the entrance a block away from reception. It all felt like false advertising.

The room had great views and was nicely decorated, and the woman who runs the place was friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant too, and both the food and wine were great. We’ll be back.
