Lovely owners, a beautiful place in a good location, and a fair price.

The setting has that typical Vosges feel, and the food is excellent. The filled bread was a delicious surprise and a real discovery. The welcome was very good, and service was prompt with no waiting. Booking ahead is recommended.

It’s easy to find, and the rooms are clean, though the duvets provided were stained. The bathroom was clean too, but they were pretty stingy with the shower gel, so don’t count on taking two showers. There’s no shampoo either, which is a real shame. The woman was nice, but she kicked us out right at 10:00, and I really didn’t like that. The hotel is advertised as having a restaurant, but unfortunately it doesn’t.

Six stays in, we still haven’t heard road noise, and as someone with asthma, I’m glad the rooms and breakfast room are never smoky. Nathalie greets us with such a warm smile each time that we feel like royalty, and we’re always happy to come back with our little girl and two dogs. Breakfast is healthy and served so kindly, it would be cruel to criticize it. The simple, pretty decor reflects the owner’s personality. Highly recommended if you enjoy simple, pleasant things.
