Hotel La Sirene

There are only a few fish options and some meat on the menu, but the fish sauces are where they really shine. The staff were very kind, and the atmosphere felt relaxing. It's a little restaurant tucked upstairs behind a staircase you might not think to climb. Inside it's simple but lovely, nicely decorated, with a wonderful sea view.

The hotel is well placed, with superb views across the bay from the dining room, and dinner was excellent. The chef deserves 5*. Staff were friendly and welcoming, but the staircase up to reception was in very poor repair. Our room, No. 10 on the 2nd floor, looked over rooftops and was really hot without AC. Breakfast was disappointingly basic. I'd say don't stay here, but if you enjoy fish, book dinner. You won't be disappointed.

The chef is really good, and the restaurant gets busy enough that you should book a table well ahead. Breakfast had the best croissants ever, but they only served one 😕. The hotel is right across from the beach in a beautiful spot. The rooms are small, so not a good fit for a family with kids. Even the rooms without a sea view have windows opening onto stairs, with an amazing view.

Dinner at the hotel restaurant was lovely and very well priced, and the service stayed great even with the place quite busy. We got a warm welcome when we arrived, and our rooms were clean and tidy with bay views. A lovely old school traditional hotel, with the sea just across the road from the beach. Would certainly recommend.
