The best parts were the bar and restaurant, the excellent food, and the very friendly staff. The two kids’ slides, heated pool, climbing frame, shared barbecue with big tables, and multi-sports area for kids and teens were also good. The maintenance man was especially accommodating and friendly. There were quite a few problems with our stay. The mobile home was old, and its air conditioning was dirty and loud. Hot water wasn’t working when we arrived. Only two burners on the hob worked, and we hadn’t been told it needed a lighter or matches, so we had to ask around. At night there were frogs, along with a steady leak from the neighboring mobile home. The artificial grass around the pool got scorching hot. The receptionist wasn’t very warm or flexible, and we weren’t given pool wristbands. We ended up staying two nights instead of the seven we’d planned, but were still charged €80 for a full week’s sheet rental even though we only used them for two nights. That was outrageous. Our mobile home was a long way from the water park. The campsite is in an industrial area under construction, with heavy machinery and a run-down road. There was no evening entertainment as planned, and the sports field needs lighting to be usable later in the day. The night attendant was unfriendly and didn’t answer our questions.
