Our superior caravan was exceptionally quiet, and very clean and well equipped, especially the kitchen. In the evenings we liked sitting outside under the canopy. The bed in the second bedroom wasn't very good, though the one in the main bedroom was fine. The nearby beach is quiet but has sharp pebbles. There are plenty of sandy beaches a short drive away.
The garden was lovely and well cared for, with a beautiful mountain view. The owners were friendly and quick to respond, and we had a wonderful week. The beach is easy to reach on foot or by bike, but bring water shoes because it's rocky. From here, it's easy to explore much of the south and the mountains without too much driving. We stayed in a bungalow for a week, and the value was excellent. It felt a bit small for us two, so four people would be cramped. I could see the second bedroom being removed to make a larger living space, with room for an indoor table on rainy days. We brought the table and two chairs in the day before, otherwise there'd have been nowhere for breakfast. It was also awkward to climb over the bed to reach the closet or get into bed. You can't drive right up to the bungalow, so luggage has to be carried up a steep path. That's not suitable for older guests or anyone with reduced mobility. Ask about the access and location when booking, especially for a bungalow. This didn't bother us, but it's useful to know.
Our son had a great time watching the fish and frogs in the little pond 🤩. The air-conditioned mobile home was roomy and laid out well. Outside, there's a landscaped area with a barbecue, pétanque court, foosball, billiards, hammock, and loungers under the trees, all close to the beach. Thanks to our hosts for a lovely stay 😊
We loved this little campsite. The welcome was warm, and the bungalows were modern, comfortable, and well equipped. It's peaceful and shady, just steps from a small beach without the crowds. Perfect, and highly recommended!
The bungalows are well equipped and comfortable, great for a family holiday. Domaine de la Testa is a beautiful, carefully maintained place, and we loved the garden details, especially the little frog pond and lanterns glowing in the evening. There's an unspoiled beach just 500 meters away on foot. We met Arnaud, who took over the estate from his grandfather and put a lot of heart and work into renovating it. We had an incredible week and highly recommend this peaceful, relaxing place 😌
