The Pod & Cwtch Luxury Accommodation

I never even made it to a stay. I booked through hotels.com and followed Google Maps, but the place wasn’t at the location. Hotels.com directed me to that same spot, and Apple Maps did too. There was a sign in a neighbor’s driveway saying “NOT the POD.” The nearest neighbor I asked was angry and said they didn’t know what “this pod” was. Nobody at the gas station knew anything either, and I walked the beach looking for anything like the photos without finding it. I called the number listed for hotels.com and got a “we’re closed” message. When I contacted hotels.com, they couldn’t find anyone either and gave me the same message. They said it wasn’t their responsibility to check whether the place was still operating, or had ever existed. It seems the safety of customers doesn’t matter to them, or to whoever owns this site. You should check it yourselves. Travelers may be tired from the journey and unfamiliar with the area. Do better and think about your customers. I’m giving you the benefit of the doubt, but I’m not even sure this place exists. If it does, good luck to anyone trying to find it.

The hosts were easy to deal with and communication was brilliant. The pod was clean, bright, and roomier than I expected, in a beautiful setting and location. We only stayed one night, but we’ll be back for longer. It really made our short break. Hopefully we can bring another couple next time and enjoy the sunken seating area, fire pit, and clay pizza oven.

Those thoughtful little details made our two-night weekend stay in cwtch feel special. The location was stunning, the accommodation was great, and the owners were lovely. Honestly, we couldn’t fault it and will definitely be back.

A peaceful spot to escape the big city, with a gorgeous view over the village and sea. The surroundings were beautiful, and the locals were friendly. We had everything we could ask for, plus the quiet we wanted. Thanks for a fantastic stay, 10/10.
