I haven't stayed at the hotel, so I can't comment on that. The pub has a nice outdoor area with mood lighting in the evenings, a log fire, and clean, tidy toilets. It's about a five-minute walk to the sea and harbour. There's a local, contemporary feel on one side and a roomier, more modern feel on the other. The staff are pleasant, the owners are friendly, and it's clean with good food and drink options. They have Sunday lunch, bingo on Wednesday and Sunday evenings, and other events. Dogs are welcome. Parking is limited to a few marked spaces, with street parking nearby.

I've stayed here twice for work and once for pleasure, using it as a base for a week of motorbike riding around the area. The staff were friendly and helpful, and Ray the owner is a top bloke. The food is brilliant for both price and quality. I look forward to staying again soon.

We came for an early dinner and loved the place. The menu is great, and the staff were excellent, with customer service that's hard to beat, especially Richard. I liked the layout and can't wait to eat here again.

Breakfast was delicious every morning, with lots of choice, and the service was excellent throughout. We felt very well looked after. Our room was lovely, with thoughtful extras like biscuits and a coffee machine. It also happened to be right across from the lawnmower shop, which was an unexpected hit with our two-year-old, whose favourite thing in the world is lawnmowers! This was our second stay at The Feathers, and we were very impressed. There are new owners since our last visit, and although they're still making their mark, things are going really well. We'll definitely be back next year.

We were running late after a trip away, but they were very accommodating. The Sunday lunch was exactly what it should be, generous portions and really tasty. We'll definitely be back.
